Aram Ghasemy is an Iranian multimedia artist residing in Italy. She is primarily known as a director, actress, performer, and dancer
Sh studied theater at the undergraduate level in Iran and, after a decade of involvement in theater and television, immigrated to Italy in 2007. Currently, she lives and works in Milan, engaging in various activities related to performing arts, dance, and multimedia.
She obtained a master’s degree in Media and Performance Art from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, simultaneously producing different works.
Throughout her stay in Italy, has presented numerous performances both in Italy and abroad, showcased in festivals, museums, theaters, and various cultural centers.
Her works blend psychological, mythological, and philosophical themes, creating a contemporary and poetic reinterpretation of ancient performance and visual styles.
In her performances, videos, and dance designs, Aram Ghasemy’s emphasis on narrative body language and movement styles has been evident.
Since 2010 she has conducted workshops and classes on various subjects, focusing on the; “expressive body, sound,creativity” “contemporary poetic body language”, and “the fusion of modern experiences with ancient Iranian performance styles”, including “contemporary Iranian dance and classical Iranian dance”.
